Through the Directorate of Women Affairs, through the Daudkandi Upazila Women Affairs Office, under the VWV program, 115 helpless and distressed women of Gwalmari Union are given food assistance of 30 kg per month. Besides, they are provided various employment related training through this program. At the end of the training, 200 taka per month is deposited in the beneficiary's bank account so that the women VWV beneficiaries can use the training to improve their finances.
